Watercolor and acrylics

Artist's Statement: I dabble in watercolor and acrylics. i am largely untrined, and I'm afraid that it shows. I got started when I worked at Nationwide Insurance. The company offered watercolor workshops at very reasonable prices. They were conducted by Leland McClelland, and they were effective. I have been very inactive for the past two years for various reasons.

Accomplishments: I won a second place ribbon in the Westerville Art League Spring Show in 1996. I served as Presient of the league for two years in 1996 and 1997. I have been treasurer for many years.

Artist's Statement:Although I have been an artist for many years, it is only in the lst two years that I have nutured my artistic abilities. Watercolor is my main media, but I also delve into some oils and acrylics. I enjoy painting landscapes, flowers and animals. I draw my inspiration from long walks through our lovely metro parks.

Accomplishments: In 2006, my acrylic piece entitled 'Aquarium' was awarded an "Outstanding" ribbon by the Columbus Recreation and Parts at The Creative Arts Event. I am a member of the centrl Ohio Watercolor Society, the Worthington Area Art League, and the Westerville Art League
