Artist Statement: I love to paint because I love color - vivid, vibrant color, especially in transparent watercolor. I loe the challenge of working with the independent nature of this mediu. Also, I like losing myself in painting my subjects: landscapes of favorite travels, flowers and people.

Accomplishments: I designed costumes for 100+ shows and directed 26 children's theatre productions for Otterbein College Theatre...while teaching theatre and raising three great kids.

Artist's Statement:Although I have been an artist for many years, it is only in the lst two years that I have nutured my artistic abilities. Watercolor is my main media, but I also delve into some oils and acrylics. I enjoy painting landscapes, flowers and animals. I draw my inspiration from long walks through our lovely metro parks.

Accomplishments: In 2006, my acrylic piece entitled 'Aquarium' was awarded an "Outstanding" ribbon by the Columbus Recreation and Parts at The Creative Arts Event. I am a member of the centrl Ohio Watercolor Society, the Worthington Area Art League, and the Westerville Art League
