Artist's Statement: Although I had worked with other art medius in the past, I had not tried watercolors until a few years ago. Since then, I have been captivated by the medium's rich transparent colors. Painting has melded well with two other prime interests, photography and travel (which provide many painting subjects).

Accomplishments: I am a member of the Central Ohio Watercolor Society (COWS) and three art leagues. My works have received Best of Show in WAL's 2004 show and won the Grand prize in Columbus Parks & Recreation.
